Definition of Adjustable Steel Props:

The Adjustable Steel Prop is a temporary vertical support used in construction and excavation, consisting of an Inner Tube and Outer Tube with a Head Jack (U-Head/Flat Plate) at the top and a Base Plate at the bottom. 

Height is set via a Clevis Pin for rough adjustment and a threaded Adjustable Nut for fine tuning. Primarily utilized for formwork support during concrete pours and as lateral struts in foundation pits, the system offers high load capacity and rapid deployment, with Tripods ensuring stability against overturning. 

Proper selection requires verifying the prop's bearing capacity and stroke against project specifications.

3. Main Prop Body:

The core advantage of adjustable steel props system lies in its adjustability and self-stability. Coarse adjustment is achieved rapidly via the locking pin across the tube perforations, while fine, millimeter-level elevation adjustment is achieved by rotating the exposed threaded nut. This ensures tight contact between the head jack and the formwork. The use of tripods or horizontal lacing prevents single-prop overturning, establishing a stable structural frame.
