JINGFANG® UPVC Plastic Formwork is a new generation of concrete formwork, manufactured with virgin and pure UPVC as the sole main raw material - accounting for over 95% of the formulation. It shares the same dimensions and applications as traditional plywood but delivers far superior performance. In standard timber frame applications, it reliably achieves 50+ reuses; in premium steel frame systems with proper edge protection, the reuse count extends even further. No recycled content. What is UPVC - and Why It Matters
UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride), also known as PVC-U or Plastic Steel, is a rigid, engineering-grade polymer created by removing plasticizers from general PVC. This preserves its molecular chain structure, resulting in higher strength, better UV resistance, and over 4× better outdoor anti-aging performance than general PVC. It strictly follows a "Three-No-Addition" principle: no plasticizers, no heavy metal stabilizers, no calcium carbonate fillers.
While general PVC, PP, and ABS are also found in plastic formwork, over a decade of real-world use has proven UPVC to be the most qualified and optimal raw material for this application - a fact widely acknowledged across the industry. Inferior materials simply cannot match UPVC's combination of rigidity, weather resistance, and long-term durability under job site conditions.
JINGFANG® takes this proven material further: we use Virgin & Pure UPVC as the sole main raw material - over 95% of the formulation, with zero recycled PVC, PP, or ABS. This is why our panels deliver certified strength, genuine UV resistance, and consistent 50+ reuses, thoroughly eliminating the warping, cracking, and bending common in unqualified products.
What is UPVC?
UPVC, the full name is Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride, is also named Plastic Steel, or PVC-U. It is the upgrading of general PVC that removes plasticizers to achieve better engineering properties, so as to retains the rigid chain structure, and increase the strength.
It strictly adheres to the "Three-No-addition" principle: no plasticizers, no heavy metal stabilizers, no calcium carbonate fillers.
Except UPVC, there are other different plastic formwork materials including general PVC, PP, ABS in the markets.
But since over 10 years ago when PVC formwork was invented, UPVC has been proved to be the most qualified and the optimal raw material selection for PVC formwork. This is a well-known point in this industry by almost manufacturers.
Compared with general PVC, UPVC has many obvious advantages, including: higher strength, better UV resistance and temperature resistance, higher resin purit. Especially it has over 4 times better outdoor anti-aging performance than the general PVC, etc. But, it also has higher cost.

Q1: What is the difference between your UPVC plastic formwork and ordinary PVC formwork?
A: We use 100% virgin UPVC as the sole main raw material - over 95% pure, with zero recycled ABS/PP/PVC and zero wood flour. Ordinary PVC formwork often contains recycled materials and fillers that cause warping, deflection, and brittleness. Our pure material ensures certified strength, genuine UV resistance, and consistent 50+ reuses.
Q2: How many times can it really be reused?
A: 50+ reuses in standard timber frame applications. With proper edge protection in steel frame systems, the reuse count can be even higher. The key is the material - virgin UPVC retains its structural integrity far longer than recycled-content alternatives.
Q3: Can you customize thickness, density, and color?
A: Yes. Standard thickness ranges from 6mm to 21mm. Density is 700 kg/m3 by default, with 600-900 kg/m3 available upon request. Colors include Turquoise Green, Azure Blue, Black, Grey, and custom colors.
Q4: What sizes are available?
A: Width up to 1,300mm, length unlimited. The most popular size is 4' × 8' (1220mm × 2440mm). Custom dimensions are available upon request.
