Adjustable Steel Props - Post-Weld Galvanized, EN 1065 Tested, Built to Outlast
High-purity Galvanizing Layer · Alkaline Galvanization · NSS 72h+ · Grade 8.8 Nuts · Full Penetration Welding
Engineered for safety and longevity, JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props are built from 100% new steel - welded first, then galvanized, ensuring 360° galvanizing coverage on every seam, inside and out.
We apply alkaline galvanization with a ≥70% pure galvanizing content, NSS salt spray tested over 72 hours - far exceeding the acidic galvanization plating that tarnishes within months. Our painting process applies the acrylic enamel finish which guarantees years of colorfast protection.
Every base plate is full penetration welded with a visible weld bead as proof of complete fusion. The Four-Way Fork Head uses a non-parallel welding technique with a reinforced weld cap to enhance tear resistance at the joint. Material integrity is non-negotiable: wall thickness ±0.1mm, weight ±0.5%. Every component, down to the tripod hinge dimensions, is built to standard without skimping.
The entire system is fully tested to EN 1065:1998 across multiple heights, including maximum extension. No pre-galvanized tube. No shortcuts. No compromise.

FAQ about JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props
Q1: Do you use pre-galvanized tubes?
A: No. We galvanize after welding - not before. This ensures every weld seam, inside and out, is fully encapsulated in a continuous galvanizing layer. Pre-galvanized tube loses its galvanizing coating at every cut and weld joint, leaving bare steel exposed. That is where rust starts. Our post-weld galvanizing eliminates this hidden risk entirely.
Q2: What is the difference between alkaline and acidic galvanization?
A: Alkaline galvanization produces a dense, bright, environmentally friendly coating with NSS salt spray resistance of 72+ hours. Acidic galvanization - commonly used on lower-cost props - achieves less than 24 hours in the same test and tarnishes within months. Our galvanizing bath also contains ≥70% pure galvanizing, not the <30% galvanizing / >70% aluminum mix found in inferior coatings.
Q3: How do you control wall thickness and weight?
A: We enforce strict positive tolerance: wall thickness deviation within ±0.1mm, weight deviation within ±0.5%. Many manufacturers default to negative tolerance - claiming 2.0mm but delivering 1.8mm. We deliver exactly what we promise. Every batch. Every prop.
Q4: Are your steel props tested to international standards?
A: Yes. Our props are tested to EN 1065:1998, the European standard for adjustable telescopic steel props. Testing is conducted by SGS across multiple heights covering the full adjustment range, including maximum extension - the most critical load condition.
Q5: What grade of nuts do you use for tripod, and why does it matter?
A: We use Grade 8.8 high-strength nuts with a tensile strength of 800 MPa and yield strength of 640 MPa. Inferior props often use Grade 4.8 nuts - only 400 MPa tensile strength. Under heavy or repeated loading, low-grade nuts can strip or fracture. We also use 32mm+ tube diameters, not the 28mm found on substandard alternatives. Every component is built to match the system's full load capacity.
